The adaptor fits any vial with a top diameter of 20mm — the standard size for most vials over 10 mL. If your vial came from a pharmacy or supplier in a multi-dose format, there's a very good chance it's a 20mm top.
The adaptor's spike enters the stopper once, when you attach it. From then on, you connect your syringe directly to the adaptor's flat access point and draw your dose — no draw needle required, and no new hole in the stopper for every dose.
